Do Division… Summers:
Shopping Party & Fundraising Event

Saturday, June 2

12:00– 7:00 pm and beyond

Division Street shops and restaurants (from Paulina to Leavitt) will kick off summer 2007 with “Do Division…Summers”, a singular way to experience the shops, restaurants and bars on the most exciting street in Wicker Park

Stroll through over 30 boutiques, taking advantage of store discounts and enjoying boutique events and in-store refreshments, all while benefiting Division Street’s “Hans Christian Andersen Community Academy”, a Chicago public K–8 school in dire need of new playground facilities. All dollars raised through the street wide raffle will go directly to the “Hans Christian Andersen Community Academy” playground upgrades.

“Do Division… Summers” will feature entertainment, complimentary drinks and hors d’oeuvres throughout all participating boutiques, in-store discounts and events and a Division Street Trolley whisking shoppers from unique boutiques to drink and food specials at participating Division Street bars and restaurants. Time Out Chicago will sponsor the event with booths anchoring both ends of Division Street.

Shoppers can stop by the booths for information on the day’s activities, and to purchase raffle tickets (benefiting Andersen School). Raffle drawings will be held throughout the day and feature great prizes including packages from local shops, spas and restaurants.
